Terms of Service
1) Acceptance of these terms
By using the Service at Image Resizer Tool, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2) What the Service does
The Service lets you upload image files and download resized versions. It’s a processing tool – not a storage or backup service.
- We process files only to fulfill your request.
- We aim to delete uploads and outputs within 24 hours of processing.
3) Who can use it
You must be able to enter a binding contract in your country. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
4) Your content & rights
- You own your images.
- You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your files only to provide the Service and to run basic safety/abuse checks. This license ends when processing is complete and files are deleted.
- You’re responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to use it.
5) Prohibited use
Don’t upload or use the Service for anything illegal, harmful or infringing. Specifically, no:
- Child sexual abuse material or exploitation
- Unauthorized copyrighted content
- Malware, attempts to break security, or service disruption
- Harassment, doxxing, or invasion of privacy
- Automated high-volume abuse beyond published limits
We may suspend or block access if we suspect abuse.
7) Privacy
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: we process files to deliver your resized output and follow our deletion schedule. We don’t sell your personal information.
8) Availability & changes
We try to keep the Service fast and reliable but uptime isn’t guaranteed. Features may change, limits may be added, or the Service may be discontinued at any time. If we make a material change, we’ll post it on the site and, where applicable, notify account holders.
9) Third party services
We may use third-party hosting, CDNs, analytics, and payment processors. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We’re not responsible for third-party sites or actions.
10) Intellectual property (ours)
The Service, site design, and all non-user content are our intellectual property or our licensors’. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service except where the law allows.
11) Copyright complaints
- Your contact info
- Description of the work and what you believe is infringing
- The time and technical details (if available) of the upload
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
12) No professional advice
The Service is a convenience tool. It doesn’t provide legal, design, or professional advice.
13) Warranties disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise perfect results for every file, device, or browser.
14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
15) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
17) Data handling & deletion
- Processing only: We process files to create your output.
- Deletion window: We aim to delete uploads and outputs within 24 hours of processing.
- Operational logs: Minimal logs may persist for security, debugging, and legal compliance; these don’t include your image files.
18) Security
We use reasonable safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, limited retention). No method is perfectly secure—upload at your own risk and keep your own backups.
19) International use
You’re responsible for complying with local laws. Don’t use the Service in places where using it would violate sanctions or export control rules.
20) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Effective date” shows the latest version. If changes are material, we’ll post a notice and, where applicable, notify account holders. Your continued use means you accept the new Terms.
