1) Acceptance of these Terms

By using the Service at Image Resizer Tool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) What the Service does

The Service lets you upload image files and download resized or converted versions. It is a processing tool, not a storage or backup service.

• We process files only to fulfill your request.
• We aim to delete uploads and outputs within 24 hours of processing.

3) Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4) Your content and rights

• You retain ownership of your images.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit your files only to provide the Service and run basic safety/abuse checks.
• This license ends when processing is complete and files are deleted.
• You are responsible for your uploaded content and confirming you have the rights to use it.

5) Prohibited use

Do not use the Service for illegal, harmful, or infringing activity, including:

• Child sexual abuse material or exploitation
• Unauthorized copyrighted content
• Malware, hacking, security bypass, or service disruption
• Harassment, doxxing, or privacy violations
• Automated high-volume abuse beyond published limits

We may suspend or block access if we suspect abuse.

6) Advertising, cookies, and third-party ad vendors

We may display advertisements, including ads served by Google and other third-party vendors. These vendors may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.

If you are located in the EEA or UK, we request consent before setting non-essential advertising or measurement cookies, as required by law.

7) Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: we process files to deliver output, follow our deletion schedule, and do not sell your personal information.

8) Availability and changes

We try to keep the Service fast and reliable, but uptime is not guaranteed. Features may change, limits may be added, or the Service may be discontinued at any time. If we make material changes, we will post notice on the site and, where applicable, notify users.

9) Third-party services

We may use third-party hosting, CDNs, analytics, advertising, and payment processors. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services or sites.

10) Intellectual property (ours)

The Service, site design, and non-user content are our intellectual property or our licensors’ property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service except where law permits.

11) Copyright complaints (DMCA-style notice)

If you believe content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice including:

12) No professional advice

The Service is a convenience tool and does not provide legal, design, financial, or other professional advice.

13) Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms or the Service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17) Data handling and deletion

• Processing only: We process files to create your requested output.
• Deletion window: We aim to delete uploads and outputs within 24 hours.
• Operational logs: Minimal logs may be retained for security, debugging, and legal compliance; these do not include your image files.

18) Security

We use reasonable safeguards (HTTPS, access controls, limited retention), but no method is perfectly secure. Use the Service at your own risk and keep your own backups.

19) International use

You are responsible for compliance with local laws. Do not use the Service where use would violate sanctions, export controls, or applicable law.

20) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal risk, or abused the Service.

21) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above. If changes are material, we will post a notice on the site and, where appropriate, notify users. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

22) Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

23) Entire agreement and contact

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Image Resizer Tool regarding the Service.
